Feather nails

Ive seen these floating around on pinterest and I was really excited to give them a try. They turned out to be alot harder then they looked, I had to trim the feathers and then the top part started to pop off the nail when I added topcoat. They turned out looking pretty cool but it took alot of work lol

Neon Color patches

Fireworks

For my fourth of july nails I started off with a good blue color.
Then I began to do a gradient using a lighter blue at the tips and then a black at the base. I used a makeup sponge for this process.

I added a layer of holographic glitter to make it look more like a night sky.

Then i took some big glitters and formed them into fireworks (or tried to anyways! :p) I added a couple streaks of silver or gold polish to make the fireworks look a little bit more like actual fireworks.

For my thumb I attempted to make an American flag.
The placing of the glitter can be a very long process but it usually looks AMAZING. I try not to do nails that involve individually placing a lot of glitter unless I really want to make a statement :)
(I learned my lesson with the valentine nails!!)

Amanda's Fourth of July nails

Amanda is my friends little sister and an awesome kid, and like any little girl she enjoys getting her nails painted. :)
I used a stamping plate from bundle monster for the thumbs and placed individual glitter on top of the stars. For the stripes I painted a white base coat and used painters tape to create the stripes.
